WW2 Artifacts & Research
Our artifact collection of about 15,000 items includes uniforms, weapons, equipment, souvenirs, and personal items. We also house a military library & archives containing over 3,000 books, personal manuscripts, yearbooks, letters and diaries, photographs, scrapbooks and newspapers.
The Richard I Bong Veterans Historical Center honors the service of men and women in every branch of the military, as well as those on the home front.
To ensure the stories of the veteran experience are not lost for future generations, the Center continues to seek additions to its collection. Written personal recollections and memoirs are especially welcome. Please contact us to learn how you can help the Center fulfill its mission.
